Had this on tap at Chatham Tap on 10/22/2011.

Appearance is a clear pale yellow with a nice white head - the scent was a surprise to me though! Sweet cider smell! Interesting!

The flavor was beautiful - a sweet mild changing to bitter changing to mild hoppy beer with substantial light malt backing. Medium carbonation carries it well over the palate and the light body makes this (sigh) 'drinkable' dare I say?

I sniffed this as it warmed and I still got mainly a sweet cider smell from it. Lovely beer with an unexpected nose, drinks quite hoppy and is yet another wonderful beer from Fountain Square Brewery =)

Pours a pleasant clear amber, with limited carbonation and lackluster lace.

Nose is crisp citrus hops. I get some grainy malts there, too, somehow. Either way, solid.

Taste is nicely hoppy (as the name implies), with plenty of citrus, grapefruit, and pine tones. It must be noted that this one also features a firm malt presence underneath the hops.

This is a very fair and balanced American pale ale -- plenty of crisp hops to appease even the most die-hard IPA nuts, and more than sessionable. Nice work!
