Beachyhead? Nope. Kate Beckinsale in a corset? Not even. Partying with Oliver Reed on his last bender? I wish. But… it’s like, ok, you know. Fish and chips is some British plays that I’ve never been, or waking up next to some London chick who looks better when she doesn’t smile, yeah, I’m sure it’s like that. So enough with fantasy’s and paintings that will never be. Let’s drink.

Had on tap. Opaque copper brown body, white head with decently thick lacing. Toasted malt with earthy and leafy hops in the nose, a hint of orange too. The taste is an amazing english ipa in that it keeps with the style classic parameters but has vibrant flavors of toasted malt, earthy and leafy hops, dried citrus, floral potpourri and a yeast that brings out the dry biscuit notes in the malt. Feel is a well hopped and dry medium body, goes down easy but you don't want to so you can enjoy it longer.

On-tap at Steve's Snappin' Dogs, DEN Terminal B, Denver, CO
A: The beer is hazy brownish amber in color and has a light amount of carbonation. It poured with a thin white collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of cracker and toasted malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and is rather malty with flavors of cracker and toasted malts. Only a slight amount of bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very nice and malty. It has just enough hops to keep things interesting.
Serving type: on-tap

A dark amber color with a two-finger off-white head. Minimal lacing.
Sweet caramel aroma, a little citrus.
Very malt forward, lots of caramel. Some grapefruit.
Pleasing on the palate. Hoppy enough to satisfy me.

July 3rd, 2015 - Enjoyed at Bull & Bush (a Denver institution in these heady days of breweries opening everywhere). A dark brew with a slight haze (owed in part to the chill) it also features a handsome head, with a bee-hive of bubbles going down a solid inch of the glass. The aroma is lightly malty, but the flavor is more signatory. Lots of bubble gum up front with raspberry and sweet grapefruits, followed by strawberry in the finish. The body is substantial enough to support the brew, too. Nice work from this lodestone of Denver's beer scene!

Pretty typical English IPA. Bitterness a little too harsh

Very clear copper colored and with a fairly heavy pour was able to generate a respectable beige head that diminished to an incomplete layer and very little lacing.
Wet grass, hay aromas are understated - certainly no brightness.
A general bitterness with a little smokiness.
Feels slightly thick and clingy.
If it was a blind taking I would put it into the ESB group
