On tap at Bull and Bush and served in a pint glass. Standard stout color:black. Smells like coffee grounds but eh...Taste is a nice hit of coffee and a decent bit of stout playing backup. I could see having a couple of these in the morning. Overall not bad but I think I'm starting to finally appreciate coffee stouts, I used to detest them which is weird since I've always liked coffee.

new one at bull and bush. pours a rich cocoa color into a pint glass. small tan head rests atop. looks rather unassuming. however the nose takes hold of you, big big coffee aromas coming out, fresh brewed, combines well with the dark malts here. flavor is very similar with the coffee being dominant. lots of chocolate bitterness too, and just a touch of sweetness. bull and bush makes a lot of good stouts, and this one might be up there in my favorites ive had from them. no acidity at all in the mouthfeel, which is good. mellow carbonation and a full but not heavy body. a good upper buzz from this guy too. i hope it sticks around on tap for awhile.
