Poured from a growler into a pub glass.
Appearance - a clear gold with a thin, foamy white head. Lacing is fairly weak.
Smell - grapefruit (surprise!) and citrus juice, fantastic!
Taste - Smooth and refreshing taste, and at 4%, I could drink all day!
Feel - light and fairly carbonated. A hint of bitterness from the hops.
Overall - a really good beer that you could share with the wife and score some brownie points! Think a very sessionable IPA! Will most definitely have again!

Served cold in a pint glass.

4.0 G.P.A. (Grapefruit Pale Ale) is a hazy golden yellow color with considerable haze.

Aroma is strong in grapefruit but not totally from hops. I think this beer had some actual fruit added.

Flavor is also big on grapefruit but somehow manages to not be tart. Good balance and nice depth of flavor. A very solid pale ale.

Mouthfeel is medium-light in body and nicely carbonated.

Another excellent Bull & Bush beer. I'm just bummed the kitchen isn't open.

Clear gold pour with thick tight white head. Floral nose. Slightly clovey rose petal flavors with a little grapefruit on the finish. Lite mouthfeel with a tiny bit of hop tongue coating - still, crisp. Overall good, I liked the subdued hop/grapefruit in the linger.

A bit thin in appearance. Tons of orange and light yellow. Foamy/soapy head. Nothing remarkable.

Holy grapefruit nose! Very true to name. I'm not too big on grapefruit, but the aroma is very crisp, clean, and true.

Very light, wet, bright, and drinkable. Bitterness is much lighter than expected from aroma. Flavors are thin yet quite refined. Quaffable. Carbonation is too high...

I'm not a huge Sessionable IPA guy, but this is still a nice even crisp, solid brew. B&B done well, again. Perfect IPA Starter.

Bottle info: BTL:8/6/14 with North Eolus 14,039' underneath the bottle cap.

Light gold colored body topped with a frothy, lasting, white head; lots of slowly rising, fine carbonation bubbles. Decent, balanced aroma of malt and citrus/grapefruit scented hops; mild orange scent. Fine bread crust and biscuit malt flavors with a juicy, citrus like hop flavor with a soothing bitterness. Medium bodied; clean and dry finish.

A very satisfying, mild mannered beer. Subtlety and finesse with a light touch sum up the qualities of this beer. And the more you drink this particular beer, the more obvious its grapefruit-like qualities which don't overwhelm anything and add a nice, distinctive touch to the beer. Mix in a low ABV and you have a fine, warm weather, sessionable ale.

On tap at Bull and Bush (obviously). Yellow color, looks fine. Aroma is grapefruit and malts. The flavor is strong grapefruit and cereal. Almost reminds me of fruity pebbles cereal. Not a bad beer but the cereal flavor is sort of weird to me. I do appreciate brewers making low alcohol beers though.

loved this, you always read "grapefruit notes" in hop profiles, but no, this is actually made with grapefruit, hence GPA. pours an unassuming clear iced tea color, and had a very small head. the smell is also not too intense, some acidic or bitter fruit tones, and a decent bit of hops, but nothing overpowering in the grapefruit department. then the first sip, hoppy american pale ale at first, smooth mouth feel, nice carbonation, mmm, but wait, whats this? holy cow! its a ruby red grapefruit, tart and tickly, lightning quick finish. boom. its such a trip this beer, majorly refreshing and infinitely drinkable with its lighter mouthfeel and quenching conclusion. overall a great treat from b and b, if a little odd seasonally. a must try., and one your lady might like too.
