On tap at the Denver Bicycle Cafe into a pint glass.
A-The brew is a complex, pale golden color. It is slightly murky with a one-finger head of white foam that leaves some nice lacing on the glass.
S-The smell is sharp and hop-forward. A little bit of pepper and citrus play against the pale malts.
T-Taste tracks the smell, but in a much bigger way. The hops are right up-front for you to taste with a nice light citrus and sharp, slightly peppery taste. Then the pale, biscuity malts take over, producing a long, drying finish.
M-The brew has a nice, crisp carbonation of medium strength. This is a medium-bodied beer.
O-I quite enjoyed this beer. It is good-looking with a lot of flavor for the moderate ABV. Some might say this beer has split personalities because of the strong hop bite in the initial sips followed by the pale malt on the finish, but I found it pleasing and drinkable. I could easily drink a few of these in a sitting.

a very very tasty new brew from bull and bush. its brewed with local colorado hops from jack rabbit hill, and is an intense pint. pours a laid back looking bronzey color with a few inches of slowly dying white head. the nose is really grapefruity, juicy and bitter, acidic and fresh, dynamite! balanced pale malt bill gives some meat to the beer, but this is made to feature some really yummy hops. the flavor starts like a normal american pale ale, but then blasts you with that huge grapefruit bitterness towards the end, the finish is so bitter its almost like lemon rind or something, very very powerful. still, its a quick finish and the bitter pain is over before you know what hit you. somewhere between an american pale and ipa, as this is a seriosuly hoppy brew. i found it quite drinkable nonetheless, with nice relaxed carbonation andonly just a medium body on it. i loved this for the uniqueness and intensity of the hops, and i suggest you get into bull and bush and get a pint of this before its gone. hopefully they keep on brewing this one, its fantastic and puts the man beer to shame in my opinion.
