When I pulled into the parking lot, it looked like it was a pub pulled out of england. A warning though, the parking lot is really poorly designed, very narrow, and the parking spaces were too close together. The menu said it was suppose to be a recreation, and I think they did a good job. Has a really nice english pub feel, dimly lit, with lots of wood trimming, tables, and chairs. Everything was neat and clean. Large menu of food and single malt scotches.

The service was also good. The server went beyond what a normal server would do, like splitting up a reuben sandwich into 2 plates. She did forget a pint of beer, and it wasn't even busy.

The food was good, but I have grips on the preparation. For something with an english theme, their fish and chips looked like it was battered and then smothered in bread crumbs. I was hoping for a smooth beer batter, like you get in england. Also the chips were disappointing. They were almost shoestring like, extremely thin. I was expecting those thick cut chips, like you get in england. Maybe I'm just too picky.

They had a large selection of beers, something for everyone, a few IPA, more mainstream ones for the wussies, and even a barley wine. They were all good, but none of the four beers I tried were excellent or very good. They do have some good specials, and I would definitely head back there to try some more beer.

Atmosphere - dig the contrast from inside and patio. Dark, cozy inside at the bar and the fireplace seating is a nice touch; patio is open roomy, enough!
Quality - they have some outstanding offerings, and usually one that I try is one I'll have again!
Service - never sat at the bar, but I don't recall a time that I've been disappointed.
Selection - something for everyone, a nice variety! Always 2 or 3 I'll order or want to try! They have a few standard brews and some eclectic ones as well!
Food - again, something for everyone and I can almost always get something that "hits the spot"!
Value - hard to beat the weekend brunch!
