I visited the Bull & Bush the Saturday of the GABF. We met up with some of our new drinking buddies from the BA pub crawl.
The Bull & Bush has a very inviting British pub atmospheres. (or at least an American idealized Brit pub feel) There are plenty of flat screen televisions to show whatever games might be on, but this didn't drag the scene down to basic sportsbar level. The room was dimly lit and the volume level was at conversation friendly decibles.
The B&B's beer selection was more than adequate. They were out of a couple beers, including the Man Beer, but this wasn't shocking considering this was the last day of the GABF. The range of beers were what you'd expect at the average brew pub. The standout for me was the ESB. This beer beckoned me to sit at the bar and have a few pints.
The food is basic pub grub. Some of what we ordered was very good, some was just okay. I would eat here again, but it wasn't anything I'd rave about.
Our service was a bit of a mixed bag. I sat at the bar while waiting for the rest of our party to arrive. The barmaids were quick, friendly and helpful. We moved to a table to eat, and our server wasn't quite as sharp. He was friendly enough, but he moved in slow motion.
I enjoyed me visit to the Bull & Bush. It's a very comfortable place.

A long Uber ride from downtown. This place reminds me of Rock Bottom KOP + the former Blue Ox Brauhaus. The bartender at Falling Rock recommended we go here. Bill gives the food a 5, I didn't eat here. I had the Pilsener and Bill had the Man Beer. It was okay, atmosphere was a little weird to me.
