Deep, dark orange and auburn look. Slight aroma of medium heavy roasted, off-dry malt, and a bit of lightly toasted wood, in the smell. Medium light amount of flavors and body. Moderate level of medium dark roasted grain and a bit of lightly toasted wood, in the taste, with a bit of a spiced caramel note, as well.

Pours reddish orange with off white head.
The aroma is toasty, nutty and caramelly with a very light herbal hoppiness.
The flavor is sweet caramel malts, pronounced toasty or nuttiness with a subtle earthy herbal bitterness on the finish.
The mouthfeel is medium with a light carbonation for the style, a bit thicker than normal but not that far off.
Overall, this is an okay beer, but I prefer my Irish reds to have a much more pronounced caramel or toffee sweetness. It was an okay beer, but I won't buy it again.

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, red color with golden highlights and a small tan head of foam. It smelled malty and sweet with aa nice grassy nose. Malty and earthy with a subtle bitterness.

22oz brown bottle
Red Brick Ale was reddish orange in color with good clarity. It had a medium off-white head with average retention and a little spotty lacing. The smell was mainly caramel malts with some earthy notes. The taste was lightly sweet upfront with some caramel malty flavors and some earthy hop flavors and bitterness to balance. The finish was dry and medium in length. The mouthfeel was good, medium in body and carbonation. Overall this is a good Irish style red ale and worth trying out.
