Nice Amber with a sweeter flavor than most Ambers.

Copper color with a thick beige head with good retention and leaving laces.
Aroma with lots of caramels, a bit of prunes and orange marmalade and bread crust.
Flavor with notes of caramel and toasted malts, herbal and floral hops, some citrusy, lots of bread crust, toffee and apple juice. Dry aftertaste with a mild to medium bitterness.
Medium body with good carbonation.
Easy and pleasant to drink Vienna Lager with lots of bread crusts. Although aroma indicated something sweet, this was fairly attenuated and balanced. Although it does not bother, the caramel should be reduced to better fit a Vienna Lager.

Amber copper color. White head. From a bottle.
Caramel and some toffee malts. Bready. Earthy and grassy with a little citrus. Lager yeast.

If you're going to drink a Diekirch this one is the only worth drinking. Much more character with a bit of a smooth kick to it.

Pours a clear amber colour with a crème head. Aromas of caramel & malt. Tastes of caramel, dark fruits, sweet malt and a hint of spice. Aftertaste is a sweet malty bitterness.

Blah! Nothing exciting here. Weak aroma and taste, decent appearance with nice creamy head.Even palate is lacking....disappointing. Expected more with the Grand Cru label....

It had a light brown almost bronze color to the body , The head and the lace were both off white and there was a strong presence for both of them. It had prune like aroma with a little bit orange. The flavor was sharp at first but became sweeter as I drank, with a sweet roasted caramel malt tone. The mouthfeel is nowhere near what it should be for this style of beer. Maybe if it was categorized different I would give it a higher rating but then they would also have to change the name.
