Poured from a 4-day old can; this is the maltiest IPA I have ever encountered, and that's not a criticism. It's a really nice beer, a wild and wonderful deviation from what seems to be the current standard for the style.

Canned 3/30/15. Extremely malty, not sure if this one falls off super quickly.

A 16oz tall boy can picked up at the Brewery in late April, 2015.

L - Dark copper, 2 fingers of head and TONS of sticky lace left on the glass

S - Very nice mix of pine and citrus hops. Different smelling than other IPAs.

T - A well balanced IPA and tasty. Citrus up-front turns into a bitter after-taste.

F - Medium bodied and strong carbonation. Nice mouth feel.

O - A very good southern IPA. Well done

I'm a new englander and used to the hop bombs. This one is very nicely balanced. Great hop forward smell and taste with just the right amount of malt backbone. Thanks to Jwag1185 for hooking me up. Overall a great ipa that I would definitely like to drink again. Well done!

Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Canned April 21st 2015.

Deep golden orange body, fairly clear looking body, with slow rising carbonation. Head manages off tan and fluffy to creamy retention, standing about three fingers tall with pill like lacing, and island creamy top in the middle. Good looking IPA.

Nice mixed hop aroma. Hints of tropical orange and citrus, nice oily and zesty. A real smokey and weedy mix in the background as well with a hop angle. Juicy and smokey a real fun combination for a hop bouquet. Not particularly sweet or bitter either, very impressive.

Palate really sings and gets the basics just perfectly. Great hop forward front juiced angle. Hits of smoke and earth fruit, hints citrus to tropical with big juice filling palate. Washes real juicy on the finish, with a smoke pop finish and lots of earth pine action. Excellent hop play and balance, even some residual sweetness comes out so subtly on the finish as well.

Fantastic IPA, really well done, one that isn't overboard either but just keeps itself in check and control. Excellent brew.

Can dated 3/31:
Pours hazy orange-golden, visible bubbles rising from nucleated glass. Fluffy white head builds up with a vigor pour and lasts long into the drink. Lacing is significant.
Nose is fruity, classic citrus/tropical notes overall. There is a hint of alcohol in the nose also. Little wet grain as well as a strange menthol-like smell is detected.
Opening taste is pretty clean on the grain, but has a medium-full feel from the get go. Hop forward for sure, pine and grass combined about evenly with grapefruit, tangerine, melon notes. Alcohol and light wintergreen flavors join the party later. End taste isn't too dry despite bitter beginning, maybe even a little slick.
A strange IPA that actually seems to lose a little with warmth, as the alcohol comes on stronger and the fruity aroma fades (and it's <8%). I had to knock my original rating a tad for this, but still rated it highly.

Pouts a bright copper with a thin white head that leaves volumes of small sticky lacing. Aroma is citrus and pine hops balanced against a little malt sweetness. The taste is much the same with a big hops blast up front. Nice weight and a smooth finish.

West coast style of IPA on the east coast. Definitely on the better side of IPAS I have had recently.

Hop, Drop 'n Roll pours a copper color with a small but lacing head. There is a bold hoppy aroma. The taste has a smooth but hoppy flavor, with a hint of bitterness and dryness at the end. Very easy to drink, good body. Overall, its a full bodied yet easy drinking slightly bitter and dry IPA.

As fine of a beer as I've ever had. No wonder Hop Drop won the World Beer Cup Gold Award this stuff is indeed liquid gold. Huge hop and grapefruit flavor but it could not be smoother going down. Can drink this every day! Cheers and thanks to NoDa Brewery!

American IPA brewed with Citra, Amarillo, Centennial, Warrior, and Chinook hops. Poured from a 16oz can into a Goose Island tulip. The pour is slightly hazy, apricot in color, and sports a creamy eggshell white head that retains quite well. Lots of bitter, oily, sappy hop aromas on the nose. Pinetrees, flowers, grass, and grapefruit.

Medium body and hop-forward flavor. Marmalade, honey, bread, and citrus fruit. Kind of a syrupy, resiny bitterness instead of the bright, fruity bitterness that I prefer. The balance is not bad, but the hop bill just isn't working for me. I'm no brewer, but is it a good idea to use five different hop varieties in one beer? The beer can't decide if it wants to taste like pinetrees, rosehips, or a big juicy orange. Everything is muddled and the resulting bitterness is not all that pleasant.

I was anxious to try this beer because I heard some great things about it, but I was a little disappointed. Perhaps I got a bad (old) 4-pack, but I just wasn't impressed. I will likely try it again though.

Acquried during a trade from @wmjones3, thanks! Great to have tried this. On my want list for some time now. Great nose. Citrus notes. Major hops up front. Drinks like a DIPA. Great balance with a nice kick. Alcohol present but not much, still juicy. Well done

Good looking: amber and cloudy with plenty of head and sticky lace. Caramel and tropical fruit aroma.A bit boozy for a single IPA. Very West Coast, pine, tropical fruit a big hop punch at the finish. Leans toward the sweet side. Heavy-ish body for the style

All I can say is that I think this beer deserves serious consideration in the top 10-15 IPA's in the country. Talk about balance, I think this beer is on the precipice of genius
