No canning date that I can find.
A: Pours a clear amber with a big frothy light tan head. Head fades out at a moderate pace. Substantial heavy lacing left behind. Great retention.
S: Nice bitter grapefruit aroma. Further sniffs reveal a spicy, resinous pine backing it up. Smells pretty dry, no real malt to make note of.
T: Again with the grapefruit briefly, but there is a big, big spicy, resinous, dank pine here too. Malt is just a side note here, I get some dry breadiness briefly. Heavy, sticky dankness pervades the finish and aftertaste of this beer along with waves of bitterness. Dry and mildly bitter dankness lingers forever between sips.
M: Nice light-medium body, smooth and dry. A bit of mouth coating resin.
O: Pretty intensely hoppy IPA that goes down surprisingly well despite a simple malt. Not too bitter but quite dry as a result. Big bold hop flavors everywhere thought. Lots and lots of spicy, resinous pine for sure, giving it a dankness that can't be understated. Very tasty.

Thanks to my buddy Garret for this one. Somehow this beer has evaded me....until now. Hop Drop pours a really nice translucent orange. This thing is sticky and there is just the faintest amount of floaties in the glass (not quite on Heady's level). Nose is tropical fruit, sweet caramel malt, pine, and some orange/citrus. This is a big IPA! Tastes more like something I would consider to be a DIPA, personally. Massive amounts of juicy, fruity hops, as well as a nice malt backbone, and a great mouthfeel and finish (again, quite sticky). wrap things up nicely. Overall, this is damn good IPA. Yet another winner from NC.

A- Hazy orange in appearance with about an inch of cream colored head with generous lacing. There are a ton of pieces of hops floating around in this beer that really hurt its overall appearance.
S- Definitely has a citrus/grapefruit note that is up front, followed by a grassy smell of a fresh cut lawn, and there is a light scent of pine and lemon present as well. Solid smelling but nothing mindblowing.
T/M- Now this is a complexity that I have not found in an IPA in quite a while! First it starts out with a smooth tangy citrus and grapefruit flavor them switches over to an almost honey like flavor then comes a bitter ending with a piney flavor. This one is brewed with a variety of different hops and as a result each variety brings a unique flavor to this IPA. This one changes as it warms up and has something for everyone who enjoys a good IPA. It's Hoppy, citrusy, and yet and a cloying sweetness of honey. The mouthfeel is exactly what one would want in an IPA light across in the beginning then punishing by slam you in the mouth with hops leaving a tangy dry sticky feel at the end.
Overall, A very good IPA its appearance and smell are the only areas that this beer is lacking. A little unbalanced (hop heavy), but a great example of the style and worth seeking out.
