Orange gold color, hazy, with 1-finger of cream colored head. Laces in light bunches.
Nose is a bag full of hops. Tropical fruit, oranges, light hop esters. Really well done.
Taste mimics the nose. Tropical fruit with orange behind that. Herbal and pine hops are there too. Just a smorgasbord of hop flavors. Finishes dry, even in the presence of all that fruit.
Body stands up to the rich hop flavor.
Overall, probably the best readily available IPA in NC. Seek it out.

A- Hazy, murky deep gold. Almost copper really. White head of 1 finger. Decent lacing.
S- Pineapple, mango, and grapefruit from the start. Aroma is moderately tempered in power, but oh so pleasant. Doughy malt base complements the juicy aspects well.
T- Hops galore. They are a kicking from the start and fight to the finish with each sip. Just enough of a biscuity, caramel base to make an attempt at balance. The hop profile seems to work really well with the Amarillo taking the lead.
M- Fuller side of mid body. Low carbonation. Has some creamy feel to it. No alcohol. Bitter, dry finish.
O- Very pleased with this one. All the qualities you look for in the style- hops lead the way and highlight each sip, not quite balanced, complex, and bone dry.
