Pours a fairly clear deep copper with a frothy cream head that slowly dissipates leaving moderate lacing.

Resin, sweet caramel malt, sharp citrus, cannabis, and pine form the aroma. Onion lingers in the background. Pretty dank.

Flavor reveals a slightly sweet body of caramel malt, underneath of which lies resiny, grassy hops, which finish fairly bitter and piney. There's a bit of grapefruit throughout, along with peach.

Body is moderate, with carbonation a touch high, accentuating the bitterness.

Good malt and hop flavoring, fairly complex, but the bitterness is a little too harsh and overwhelming for my tastes.

Received as gift from Mark Rodda. In a can. Bottled on 4/28/14. Poured into a nonic pint glass.

This is a beautiful beer with a great aroma. Good bitterness from beginning to end. A very good IPA but at 7.2% ABV comes off more as an imperial. Very drinkable. 4.25

A – Pours a clear golden with a two-finger white rocky frothy head, good lacing, good show in the glass. 4.5

S – Beautiful aroma with apricot, grapefruit, orange blossom and sweetness. 4.75

T – A balanced beer with good maltiness and an herbal bitterness in the finish. 4.25

MF – Medium body with a semi-dry finish. Under carbonated. Sort of a flat mouth feel. Smooth yet a lasting bitterness on the palate but not a biting finish. 3.5
