Pours a burnt orange to copper through the clear orange hues as lively bubbles of carbonation dance to the top to meet the foamy, off white head. After a few minutes the head is no longer, leaving a scattered lacing about the glass.

A hoppy aromatic nose offers pine, grapefruit, peaches, and maybe even nectarine. Very fruity and piney at the same time. There maybe some earthy type malt in there as well, but verdict is still out.

Much more piney on the palate. There are still traces of citrus but not nearly as much. The malt really comes forward on the palate as well, primarily biscuit or dark bread-like.

Medium in body with a fair amount of carbonation with a chewy, piney finish that offers up some peach at the very end.

Overall a pretty darn nice APA. Certainly a touch maltier than some of its hoppier counterparts, and a really nice "drinkable" brew.

Poured from a 16oz can into an imperial pint glass a clear deep golden with a full one finger white head atop that lasted for the duration.Aromas of Amarillo hops abound, leafy, with some sweet onion and aspirin, wich I tend to like, caramel malts show thru more as I drink more.Hops dominate the palate up front with leafy and grassy notes dominating, the aspirin notes also come into play,a biscuity maltiness holds true to the finish but the hops are the show.I really like this pale, the hop profile is fantastic and the alcohol is low so I can drink the four pack without a problem.Solid.

Another good offering from Noda. This is definitely a sessionable beer (great for a hot summer day) but only if you like hops and a fruity floral taste. Smell and taste of citrus is strong throughout. The malt only slightly offsets the hops and brings sweetness with it, but the hops is never too strong anyway. Very easy drinking, settles nicely on in the mouth.

Amber gold, crispy clear color with a nice lacy white head. Aroma is bright, fruity, and happy. Cereal grains, citrus, tropical, grassy hop. Taste is refreshing and pleasantly hoppy. This is a very easy to enjoy beer. Flavors are flowery peach, apricot, apple, pine cones, grapefruit zest, all mixed really well together. Finishes with brisk carbonation and tingly hop dryness.

16oz can

Quite dark for a "session pale" - very bready with notes of spiced dough and rye. Rather dull hop profile and lacking characteristics I would like to see in a 'session'. One of these was enough - not a beer to revisit in the future.
