Had this from a tap at the Amesbury Brewfest on Sept 2012
Dark translucent color
Smells of dark chocalate and coffee
Very nice drinkable beer. For me, not best in class in regards to Porters. A little 1 dimensional in taste, with a slightly sharp mouthfeel.
Personally, I prefer slumbrew's IPA
Serving type: on-tap

Slumbrew Porter Square Porter has a thin, beige head, a very dark, almost black, brown appearance, and slight lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of chocolate, milk, burnt malt, and a bit of acidic. Taste is of sugar, milk, chocolate, acidic bitterness, char, and dark-roasted malt. Mouthfeel is fairly heavy and velvety, and Slumbrew Porter Square Porter finishes semi-dry, easy drinking, and not at all alcohilic.
