Poured from the bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a slightly cloudy amber with a finger of creamy off white head. The smell is sweet with some hops and a slight spice note. The taste is sweet off the bat with a nice hop bitterness. Mild citrus peel bitterness. There is a spice note that reminds me of rye. The finish is sweet from grain and rather hoppy.

Orange-amber color with a solid haze. The head pours a finger thick, but it lasts a very long time and leaves plenty of blanketing lace on the glass.
Strong caramel base in the nose. Definite alcohol presence. The hop, though, is quite muted for the style.
The taste is the whole package--solid malt bass mirroring the aroma. The shows up dramatically in the swallow with lots of black pepper. The aftertaste is well-blended with a warming alcohol background. Full bodied with a diminished carbonation level.

Golden straw colored hue. Slight head, about a finger tall. Smells of malts and hops, a bit fuesel. Malty sweetness, pine and slight grapefruit at the end, hides the alcohol on the palate. Has a nice coating on the tongue and leaves behind a nice film on the tongue. I would buy this again.

Pours a cloudy orange-amber-blonde into my glass with a nice one-finger head. Interesting presentation. I think the cloudiness is from hop residue?
Grapefruit and to a lesser extent, mango on the nose. Assertive. It's safe to assume that this one is going to rock the taste buds to their core.
Word. A wave of grapefruit, mango and pine greets the taste buds. Freshly-squeezed hop juice is the best way to describe it. The label mentions a new experimental hop, HBC-342. I don't know much about it but it certainly compliments the Nugget, Columbus, Zythos and Simcoe.
Lingering hop juice (grapefruit, mango pine flavors) with a bit of alcohol heat toward the back. Very pleasurable.
I'd say this is one of the better DIPAs I've had. It immediately reminded me of Heady Topper due to the freshness and hop punch. Worth checking out if you're a fellow hophead!

A-Pours a turbid, murky orange/brown color. There are some little chunks floating around. The head is a thin cap of bubbly white froth. Some lacing is left behind.
S-Hops are very zesty. Almost lemony. Some honey and a fruit-puréed hoppiness. Citrus and some herbal hops as well. A full maltiness behind it of soggy bread.
T-The flavor is a bit odd. It's very tangy. Unique hoppiness. Also quite robust in its maltiness. Hops are piney and spicy as well. Definitely a unique take on a jaded style. I don't like the finish all too much, it's overly sweet.
M-Fuller bodied. Medium bitterness. Resiny.a bit sticky. Long aftertaste. Drinks fairly easily. Lighter carbonation.
O/D-A unique DIPA that I didn't love. Slumbrew makes some neat beers and I appreciate the effort but it just doesn't all fall int place with Snow Angel. I still think this is an above average brew in the end.

Bright amber with a hazy center, topped by four fingers of level, tight micro-bubbles. Good lacing.
Aroma heavy with pine, licorice, sugary, boozy.
Big sweet slather coats the tongue. Bitterness rises up, balances, then swings the tide. Fruit rides on top of the bitterness. Bitter finish.
Heavy mouthfeel, thick and smooth.
Worth a try, but unless moved by local loyalty, not a beer to return to often.

A: hazy, orange colored, unfiltered, cloudy
S: pine, resin, booze, some sweetness.
T: huge hop presence balanced well with a sweet malt background, very dry finish.
M: carbonation danced on my tounge
O: this was a pretty great beer. It's definitely a big beer. Hopefully they brew this again. It slightly reminded me of Ruination.
