It's a good beer, but doesn't scream fresh hop.
Pours a reddish color with some white lacing.
Smells like pine.
Taste is pine and some fruit.
Mouthfeel is clean with a hint of bitterness lingering.
It's OK. A good drinking beer, but lacking in that bump that says fresh.

Dark red-amber color, white 1.5 inch head. Recedes fairly quickly, leaving thick lacing that slips down the glass. Moderately carbonated. Inviting citrusy aroma. Medium mouth feel. Citrus in the initial flavor, with a good malt balance. Moderate bitterness in the middle and in the aftertaste. Aftertaste does not linger. A pleasant enough beer, easy drinking, But it does not have the extra aroma or all the fresh-hop flavor you would expect. Enjoyable and recommended, but as a fresh hop it is ordinary.

Poured from 120z bottle into tulip glass.
L- Deep orange color, barely any head and no lacing.
S- Scent of lemongrass, a soft sweet maltiness behind it.
T- Sharp taste of bitterness, backed by a solid malt note and that delicious hoppy lemongrass flavor.
F- This is a real winner in the mouthfeel. It sent shivers down my spine with my first sip. The bitterness is not overpowering, but persists on the tongue for at least a minute.
O- Pretty hoppy and tasty, but I expect a little bit more of a clear fresh hops flavor on a fresh hop brew. Still, it was the same price as the regular Foto so I'll definitely pick it up if I see it.

This beer pours a light ruby color. The head is a half inch in height, and recedes quickly leaving a thin film of lacing...nothing out of the ordinary for a fresh hop beer. The aroma is of tangerine, grapefruit, dank green apple, green hop freshness. The taste is similar to the aroma, but greener and danker. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with a creamy texture, and moderate carbonation. Overall, this is a fine fresh hop beer that I would certainly drink again.

Appearance: Hazy orange-amber, ok head.
Smell: Piney then switches to citrus, not particularly strong for a fresh hop beer.
Taste: Tingly citrus throughout, but also shows a nice malt base.
Overall: I really like "fresh" Foto but haven't had it in a while due to their difficult-to-decipher bottle dating. So when a fresh hop version came out I was excited to try it. It didn't quite live up to my expectations but was still tasty.
