On tap at the Strand. Served in a mason jar so hard to judge the appearance.

I can pretty much sum this beer up the same for each category which is to say nothing was distinctive. No aroma, taste was of a faint ale with no discernible character. Mouthfeel ok.

It's a summer ale so I reckon they went for something lightish but c'mon give me some citrus or something. (368 characters)

1/2 growler purchased at Peekskill NY's Beverage world this afternoon.

Pours clouded lighter tangerine almond. Under a moderate light tan head, fine film and lace and thin collar.

Ripe fruit sweetness on the nose.

I get some melon, herbal hops and mild citrus on the palate.

Decent if unspectacular summery pale ale. Would work fine with a summer helping of cheese, salad and crusty bread (393 characters)

Had this beer on tap at Superstar Beverage in Huntington. Purchased a 16oz after sampling.

Poured into a pint glass.

Nice 2 finger bone white head, nice lacing but not much stickiness.. fell down pretty quick.

Smell wasn't too overwhelming. Citrus and malt smell with a dot of hops thrown in there.

Taste was very smooth, crisp and refreshing. Light citrus bit malty semi light mouthfeel. Finishes clean with a good crispness and refreshness to it.

Overall a damn good summer ale... mixes well with there style and well balanced. So frigging drinkable and would highly recommend as a BBQ or outside drinking beer. (629 characters)

On draft at Tap and Barrel, Smithtown, NY

Poured a light hazy brassy hue with a two finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing.

The smell featured a light grassy hop and faint ester.

The taste consisted a sharp grassy hop, a soapy citrus flavor and light fruity ester.

The mouthfeel was toward the fuller side of the style with a vegetable like aftertaste. Finished dry.

Overall a light bodied estery pale ale. (436 characters)

05/28/14 On tap. Sorry Bronx guys, but the word 'subtle' used in your description is misappropriated. The citrus may be subtle, but whatever lends the piney notes here might have had a lullaby as an intent but left a nightmare of "Mommy Dearest" proportions. (Well not quite, but I was looking to impress on the 0-100 discrepancy). Just as we all hope that the proverbial "long cold winter" yield to more a amicable climate, so I did wish for the harsh elements in this pint give way to something more...more...actually less 'distinctive'. Less can often be more. (563 characters)
