This seasonal pale ale was inspired by our brewer Damian's years living in Germany drinking Radler style beers. An easy-drinking brew with a playful lemon finish makes this a perfect beer for those hot summer days in the city - beachside, poolside or streetside. Cheers to drinking weather!

this is better than its ratings, at least for me, the can looks way different and more colorful than what is pictured here, and the beer is nice, a somewhat malty pale with some hop bitterness too and the natural lemon element there the whole way giving it a nice summer vibe. cool to have a summer ale not be some flavored blonde or something, its beerier than that, and i dig it. i like how balanced it is, the grain is sturdy and levels the hops a bit, the hops show pine and orange, and so the fresh lemon addition is a natural fit, everything works well together here, and to those who say this is too heavy for a summer beer, i would answer that the citrus makes it light, that the low alcohol works to keep it in the session range too, and that there is a brightness about it that makes it seasonally appropriate. mine tastes a little less than fully fresh and so there is more malt heft and hop bitterness than their might be in a fresher can, but i still like this a lot, think it has a nice round texture and flavor, and the lemon picks it up a little bit without really adding any acidity or anything. maybe slightly english and fuller on the grain side, but these are still summer flavors on the whole, nice brew. a good introduction to this brewery for me, boat beer for beer drinkers, or golf course, either way...

Served in a Tulip glass from a 12oz can.
Appearance: Semi hazy with mild sediments to the brew with a thick white head rising about one finger's length off the body. The beer comes off like an amber tinted gold color with medium bubbles.
Smell: Lavender with hints of citrus skin. It's floral but to the point makes your think of a euro pale lager.
Taste: Lightly malty with hints of lemon skin and a dose of lemon juice to go with. Slight hoppy, wouldn't tweak it, honestly descent light beer to start the night.
Mouth: Light citrus finish and a but bubbly with a soft carbonation.
Overall: Descent brew, feels weird to have dinner ale in the winter, but not a bad brew at all. Hard to rate higher considering I think there a quite a few better summer ales out there but this will suffice most palates. Salud.

Everyday, somewhat sweet, slightly gassy, malt-forward pale ale with a lemony aftertaste. There’s nothing wrong with it - in fact, it’s perfectly acceptable on a summer afternoon - but nor is it memorable in any way at all.

Unexceptional yet refreshing summer ale. Decent hop bite with zesty accents from lemon peels. Deep golden color, almost orange. Fairly good body--not thin, relatively substantial mouthfeel. A pleasant summer escape beer.

Sharp looking 12 ounce can in to a nonic pint glass.
Pours a golden lemon-yellow color with a satin finish. The fluffy white cap reaches 3F before slowly settling to a film, leaving modest lacing.
German inspiration is revealed in the aroma. Floral hops, lager-like graininess, grassy, light malt.
Light malt flavor with subtle lemon taste. Just enough citrus to temper any sweetness.
Light body with lemon acidity, again, not sweet. Grainy malt finish.
I'll look for it again next year.

Pours a golden color with a modest creamy head that retains quite well throughout.
Grainy malt aroma with a syrupy cereal grain sweetness. Light lemon. Caramel malt and butterscotch; perhaps a slight flaw? I did not pick up much of a hops aroma.
Malt forward pale ale, moderately sweet with a subtle lemon finish
Light and crisp. Very easy to drink.
A refreshing and simple summer ale.
