13 122 is printed on the label, April '13, almost 8 months old.

Pours black with plenty of tan foam, good retention, the skim breaks after a few sips, but leaves behind lots of drippy lacing.

Mellow roast and cocoa sweetness in the aroma.

Taste is not the best, it's mainly astringent and tart, also thin bodied. Dry chalky roastiness in the aftertaste, though it's a shell of itself. Seems to be infected unfortunately.

Thanks to Howard for this one, too bad it was a dumper.

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a quarter finger high tan head that died down, leaving a thick collar around the edge of the glass and bits of lacing on the surface.
S: Light aromas of chocolate malts are present in the nose along with hints of roasted malts.
T: The taste is similar to the smell, except that the flavors of roasted malts are subdued and the chocolaty flavors are stronger. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is a pretty solid stout that has nice flavors of chocolate and roasted malts.

Bottle from Champane's, less than six months old. A serviceable stout. Initially a little musty aroma. Black with virtually no head remaining. A little chalk, roast, chocolate malt. Decent drinkability. Undercarbonated and a bit above average mouthfeel.

Another Triton and another disappointment. I didn't set my standards very high either.

The look and aroma a pretty average. The aroma maybe a bit below average - very subtle for an American style.

The taste and aftertaste are also not what one would expect for an American, and just plain pedestrian. Nothing stands out, including the overall balance.

Like most Tritons, I will not seek this out again.

Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a standard pint glass.
Dark black in color, with a moderate head of tan foam.
Aroma-Toasted malt, toffee note
Taste-Dark malt, chocolate, toffee, roasted coffee. Good flavor and body, a nice "every day" stout to have around.

Bottle from CWBlues, 12oz into a tulip. Thanks Cy!

Black body with a finger and change of light brown head. Ok lacing and retention. Nose has roast, dark chocolate, blackberries, and faint cocoa. Taste has more chocolate, lightly charred bread, roast, with a dry-ish finish. Medium thin body, and mild bitterness. Passable stout, but nothing too intriguing.

This is a straight-up American dry oatmeal stout. It’s super roasty with large coffee nodes and a pleasantly rough finish of oatmeal and toffee. Very nice, very creamy body ties everything together quite well—one of the best session stouts I’ve drank in a long while. Certainly worth the price of admission.

Thanks to Joe for this one.

A: Pours black with a small tan head on that reduces rather quickly leaving nothing on top. Some thin lacing forms around the edges.

S: Lots of roasted malt, a bit of chocolate, and a hint of coffee.

T: Lots of roasty malt upfront with a bit of bitter chocolate in the middle. There is a very faint citrus note in the middle, but it is fleeting.

M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

O: A solid stout. Not overly complex, but easy drinking.

Pitch-black and opaque black upon pouring, with a deep tan head. Not much lace to speak of.

Nose is creamy bittersweet chocolate, with an underlying caramel vibe. Unusual and appealing!

Taste is plenty of the bittersweet chocolate, burnt coffee, and more of the caramelized sugar. I also get a good sense of the oat infusion, as this one is smooth, and almost milky/lactic in texture. Surprisingly different with the sweet/sourness. Enjoyable.

On tap at The Tap in Bloomington.

This is probably the most vile beer I have ever tasted. So bad I had to write a review warning everyone to pass this by. When the aroma hit me I got an immediate flashback to when I used to change my kids diapers. Following up on the aroma was a taste that made me wonder if this is what diaper rash ointment tastes like.

This is truly THE WORST BEER I HAVE EVER TASTED. Worse than any infected beer, worse than Sam Adams Cherry wheat. DISGUSTING.

Cold from the tap @ the Tap a dark dark brown to black to a shaped pint with a foamy, full finger short lasting tan head, leaving spotty lace after each sip.

Aroma of roasty malts and buttercream.

Smooth, sweet, creamy, medium bodied. Subtle malts and toffee.

Super drinkable.

On tap at Tomlinson Tap Room. Poured a nice deep brown with some decent head and a bit of nice lacing. Very roasty scent, with nice earthy undertones. Good flavors, a nice roasty maltiness, with slight coffee tones and a decent earthy finish. Went down well, a nicely made (if not spectacular) stout.
