Awful from the first sip. Nothing noteworthy to the eye or the nose. The taste is just odd, feels a bit fizzy. Drank about 5 oz. and used the rest to clean the hotel sink drain.

A- Pours a medium level of hazy with a swirl around the bottle to get it out. Bright yellow in color like a wheat should be, with a 2 finger head that retains a minute or two and has decent lacing.

S- Light, grainy, and a little citrusy for most of the scent. At the back end of the sniff there is a hint of very mild, balancing hops bitterness.

T- Starts very light and grainy with a fairly strong citrus presence. Lemon is prominent in the fruit flavor, which takes over the middle half of the drink. Citrus flavor lingers until the end, when a very mild hops presence appears. The combination of citrus and hops gives a bit of a metallic flavor that lingers after the drink ends.

M- Highly carbonated and pretty light flavors make this one very drinkable, but the heavier wheat presence limits it a bit. Still, this is in line other wheat ales as far as weight.

Overall, nothing especially special here, just an everyday wheat with a little above average citrus flavor. Metallic flavor really brings the flavor back to average.

For an American Wheat it's very pleasant to drink. It was a little more hoppy than I was expecting for a wheat beer and it has a slight IPA like feel in the mouth. Very good taste and flavor but personally I could have used a little more. I'm familiar with very flavorful beers and I enjoy ones that have a bit more weight to them. This would be a good summer session beer.

Overall it's a good beer but there is nothing that really distinguishes it from other craft wheats that I've had; if you do find yourself at Triton I recommend the Rail Splitter IPA.

A: A very clear, honey-tinted straw color. Strikingly clear. Nice foamy bubbles on top of the beer.

S: Not very strong. Grain and husks with a touch of citrus.

T: Stronger on the hop flavor than I had anticipated. Starting off with semi-sweet bready malts leading into the hop flavors of lemon and orange and finishing off with a grassy and bitter flavor that lasts for awhile

M:medium bodied with a nice carbonation.

O: Not bad. More of a hoppy beer made with wheat than a straight up american wheat which is more of what I was expecting, not that I am disappointed. It has a relatively lower IBU, 25 I believe from the bottle, but it seems like it could be a bit higher on the finish. I could see buying from time to time but would definitely drink one if offered.

A:Pours a golden straw color with a good sized white head. Little bubbles can be seen.

S: Starts with some citrus and orange with a bit of caramel. Pretty much what you'd expect from a wheat.

T: Starts with a bit of bready caramel before going into some citrus and orange flavors. Just a bit of grassy hops on the finish. There are hints of honey and straw throughout.

M: Light with high carbonation.

O: Solid wheat beer. Being from Indiana I'm a big fan of the artwork (basketball sun rising over fields).

Triton just started bottling this a couple weeks ago.

This beer pours a light bodied honey gold in color with just a slight white lacing around the glass that quickly disappeared. It is very bright and does resemble honey or a honey tea quite a bit. The nose is pretty standard for a pale wheat. There is slight pale malt aromas, a touch of honey, with an ever so slight yeastiness. There isn't reall much to it. I definitely don't get any Amarillo and the yeast character is muted. It's ok. It drinks really light in body with aggressive carbonation. It has a slight bite to it. Overall this is a pretty average wheat. I would have preferred some hop character as well as traditional yeast characteristics. That said, I could see others really enjoying this during the summer. It would be very session able and great in warm weather.

Semi-opaque golden, with a light head of white carbonation. Lace didn't really appear.

Nose is caramel malts, toasty and bready. Nice.

Taste is similar, with more toasty malts, caramel, and a swift kick of hops at the finish. A delightful and full-flavored wheat beer, and one I'll revisit.

On tap at Tomlinson Tap Room. Poured a nice gold with excellent bubbles, with nice head and lacing throughout. Huge sweet wheat malt aroma with a nice citrus hit. Excellent wheat/straw flavors with a wonderful citrus hop kick, with a slight spiciness at the end. Went down very well, although I'd be okay if it were thicker.
