Stopped by around 7 PM on a Thursday. The area is a little weird. There's nothing much there, for one. Secondly, what's going there seems sort of like one of those gated retirement complexes, only it's designed for young professionals. I dunno, maybe it'll be cool. Right now, however, it's nothing.

WBNA was on the TV, which is nice. Aside from that, the interior was very metal. Not in the Dio sense, but in the "lots of exposed beams and corrugated tin" sense, with warm tracklighting and slick, polished wood. It's a very new building that tries to seem old, and in spite of being ersatz it's fairly warm and welcoming (aside from the brewing area, which stretches way, way back and reminds me of the aesthetic from the movie _Brazil._)

The beer was solid. They don't serve food directly on the premises, but every day of the week they have a new food van out in the parking lot, and they have a big menu up on the wall letting you know which van comes which day. That's cool. They also had some prime shit on the guest taps.

The downsides are that the place had a little bit of an uppity vibe. The prices were ridiculous--pints and growlers cost more than the do at Three Floyds. The crowd was friendly, but most of them looked like they just got done golfing and/or had spent the day yelling at their secretaries.

cool industrial space, lots of sun, exposed beams, but i could see this place getting noisy if there were a crowd. kind of a remote location - not sure, but the building may be a rehabbed barracks. tried a flight sample, love their glassware - globes, rather than the traditional glassware you find. beer, on the other hand, just OK with some definite misses. service was great. food truck outside, kids are welcomed/present.

A nice surprise while in Indianapolis for business. The Midnight Rail Nitro was fabulous , also a great Imperial IPA, Headsplitter. Friendly staff and owner! No kitchen, but they had a food truck out front with some very tasty pulled pork sandwiches .

Great industrial look to the brewpub. Exposed rafters and lots of dark wood and stainless steel. Awesome view to the fermenting tanks in the back behind the tap station. Staff was very friendly on my first visit. Tried samples of their Rail Splitter, Bourbon Barrel Sour Monk and regular version. Got a growler of their O-Rye-'n-Galaxy IPA. Definitely be back there when I get the chance.
