22oz bottle received in a trade with rowingbrewer. Poured into a Bruery tulip.
A - Pours a cloudy, slightly brownish tinged golden orange. A finger of off-white foam, dense and tight- bubbled sits on top and falls slowly to a few islands of bubbles and a thick collar. Light rings of lacing left around the glass.
S - Big hits of hop aromas in the smell. Huge pine and grapefruit that completely dominate. Thick and sticky aroma...very little malt gets thru to contribute much of anything here. Not especially complex, but very good.
T - Really mirrors the aroma closely. Thick with hop flavors - very citrusy and piney with just a hint of what others call meaty flavors (Summit hops used in here?), but I find a bit spicy and desirable. Might be a hint of malt at the base, but I really don't care...the hops shine brightly...this tastes great.
M - On the light side of medium bodied with a lowish carbonation level. This is so smooth and creamy in feel and just packed with resiny hops. Hop flavor lingers forever after the swallow.
D - This is a great IPA...I am definitely not let down at all by this one. Reminds me a bit of Pliny and Gubna...both of which I really enjoy. It is right up there in the upper echelon of IPA's...hope they bottle this again.

Appearance - Even though you are supposed to drink from the can i poured a little bit out just to get a look at it. Pours a very light orange, with almost no head.
Smell - Very hop full aroma. hints of citrus and heavy pine, i would even say it has a canabis type aroma being very grassy and piney.
Taste - Hops are strong forward and stay consistent all the way through. Hints of pine and grass.
Mouthfeel - very rich mouthfeel, staying wet on the palate making you want more.
Overall - this beer is perfect, very complex and well balanced making it one of the best IPA's out there.

7/22/14: at home, poured from a (fresh) can into a 16 oz. snifter
A: cloudy, light orange. some hop resin that sinks to the bottom.
S: one of the best smelling beers I've had: pineapple, orange, lemon, spice.
T: similar to the smell, but the bitterness has a cumulative effect that grows harsher as you drink.
M: pretty balanced, not too thick/syrupy and not too dry.
O: the bitterness borders on being annoying, but the smell and taste more than qualify this to be considered among the best DIPAs around.
