A friend from Vermont hooked it up and brought a few cans over.

Appearance: I drank it from the can (as instructed), so I'm not sure. The can is interesting enough.

Aroma: Possibly muted due to the can. I was expecting something more intense, but it has a nice piney-hop aroma.

Taste: I took one sip and was overwhelmed by waves of pine and citrus long after swallowing.

Mouthfeel: A bit on the syrupy side, but has an incredibly smooth and clean finish.

Overall: I won't hesitate to call it the best IPA/DIPA I've tried. I had a Sculpin immediately afterwards and it paled in comparison.

I do not and probably will never understand the exultation of IPAs. This one in particular. It's so average, Nelson is much better, as are several others. So there's your review for my "bad" score.

Drank straight from can so I assume it looks as good as it tastes. Very hoppy with full pine/resin hop flavor. Good malt backbone which makes the flavor even more complex. Taste is best as the can warms slightly. Amazing beer

16oz can. No canning date, but reportedly fresh. I don't do well at following instructions so I poured it into a tulip

L - Hazy and almost syrup thick. I was half expecting hunks of hop cone to plop into my glass. Certainly not the most appealing looking beer
S - Quite light on the nose. I am getting why the instructions are drink from can... This isn't your floral hop bomb - more dank with hints of citrus but muted
T - Surprisingly light and smooth with a sharp bitterness on the finish. Dank piney hops with a slight sweetness, but very well balanced based on how syrupy the pour was - I expected it to be sweeter
F - A touch prickly but smooth and rich. I could swear this was half oats or something; so soft and velvety

O - Digging it. Quite a polarized IPA. It isn't trying to be more than one thing, it just goes for it and does dank, piney and rich as hard as possible.
