Decent stock, educated staff but really bad with customer service. I had an issue with a product and they handled it in a very sketchy manner. They'd rather make a couple of bucks than keep a customer for the long haul. I'd recommend sticking with online retailers. it is worth the extra money in shipping to not have to deal with these knuckleheads.

Brock's Homebrew Supply may not look like much from the outside, but it is a homebrewer's paradise! I first visited this past weekend...twice, in fact! I was ready to brew, so the night before I activated my yeast smash pack and went to bed. The following morning, the pack was not swollen. Thank God for Brock's! They had a whole library of yeast activator packs (including the one I needed). I also picked up some kegging supplies while I wss there. I browsed around and saw a very nice variety of ingredients...certainly all the basics...and a fairly large selection of brewing supplies and kegerator supplies as well. The man at the counter also told me that if they do not carry something, they will find it and order it for you.

Later in the day I had a small crisis with my brew. I called up the store and just asked the guy's opinion and he walked me through a solution. In all honesty...he saved my brew. Then my hydrometer broke and I swung by and picked up a new one for less than $6! Great prices...great service...great selection! Absolutely awesome!

Brock's Homebrew Supply opened recently in Melbourne. The building looks like an industrial warehouse from outside.
The selection is reasonably good, and considering it's the only homebrew store for probably more than an hour's drive in any direction it's like an oasis in the desert for a homebrewer. I bought a kit (there was a decent selection of kits) for a red ale and a fermenting bucket. They had everything I would need to brew. They also had some wine making supplies. I would say that everyone I have met working there has been very helpful and quite nice. That being said I would have to say they could be more knowledgeable, but Brock is a young guy and so were the other guys who I've encountered and I'm sure they are learning quickly. A nice place, definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and need some ingredients or equipment for brewing.

It was great to see another Homebrew shop open in Florida. South FL homebrew shops are pretty rare so I decided to check it out. The hook was $5.00 next day shipping in FL, I can spend way more than that on gas depending on the shop I go to. I started throwing together an order on a Monday but they were out of the yeast I needed for my brew. I called the shop and I was told it would be stocked by Wednesday. I placed the order late Wednesday night and my order arrived in perfect shape Friday afternoon. I had to call the shop a few other times with random questions and each time the service was outstanding. I received a follow-up email asking for feedback, which I provided and my comments were addressed immediately. Good prices, fast shipping and excellent customer support. Highly recommended!
