I love this place. The beer selection is the best on The Cape with a nice variety for all palettes (42 taps and typically something on cask). The beers are rotated so there's always something new to try. And they're served in the proper glass for the style, which is always nice. As for the food the burgers and fish tacos are amazing. The staff is very friendly. Some of them know beer better than others but they all have at least a basic understanding of what they're serving and how to serve it. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves trying new beers.
It has a small Irish Pub feel, which is nice. Just expect a wait if you're there between 6-8 pretty much any day of the week. Worth the wait though!!

I'm really not sure what to make of this place. I've been about half a dozen times and I still can't figure out its personality. So best I can figure it's a fairly standard "Irish Pub". Meaning lots of Guinness, Smithwick's, Killian's and Jameson's paraphernalia. Pretty decent selection of beer, particularly for Cape Cod. One of the better lineups on Cape, actually. The food is hit and miss. The burgers are terrific but some of the other entrees are unremarkable. Prices are pretty low (again, low for the Cape) which is helpful. My issue is mainly with the service. The best service I've had there was when a bartender had very little personality. No talking besides taking drink orders. Not necessarily a bad thing. Tonight though, at 10:30, the bartender and manager started turning off lights and dropping checks. No warning about last call or anything like that. At around 10:45 I overheard the bartender say "what do I have to do, turn out all the lights and leave everyone in the dark? What do these people not understand?" Now I know it's a Sunday in the offseason (still a holiday weekend though...) on Cape Cod but 10:30? And bad attitudes vocalised loud enough for customers to hear? Very poor form. May or may not be back. Unfortunately lack of other options may lead me back here. Hope they get an attitude adjustment soon.
