Category 3 IPA pours a golden color with a white head from a brown one gallon growler. The aroma is quite hoppy, mostly citrus and pine notes. The flavor is the same, pine resin and grapefruit dominate. Decent, but just about the standard issue IPA with nothing to make it stand out above the crowd. (299 characters)

Very dark orange brew for an IPA, topped by a nice off-white head. Decent retention.

Aroma is grainy and slightly stale (despite being a freshly tapped keg), with some old-school hops showing through (grapefruit peel and pine).

Flavor follows: there's a nice, pronounced bitterness, but stale cardboard and caramel grains overwhelm any hop flavors, which manifest primarily as a bitter, oily aftertaste.

The brew almost comes across as a more bitter AAL, grainy and overall unpleasant in most regards. (504 characters)

Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass.
Aroma- Has a citrus and hops aroma with a yeast backdrop.
Appearance- Has a semi-murky amber color with a large white head.
Taste- The taste is straight forward strong IPA with a citrus finish.
Palate- A medium bodied brew with moderate carbonation.
Overall- A pretty good American IPA worth trying (346 characters)

On tap at the brewery. Served in a taster.

Appearance - Clear orange body. Nice white head. Good retention. Nice lacing.

Smell - Mild citrus and pine hop. Diacetyl? Might be.

Taste - Still some diacetyl here, but less. Mild citrus hop. Grainy malt smoothed out by the buttery flavor. Eh.

Mouthfeel - Medium body. Medium carbonation.

Overall - Diacetyl kills this. Maybe it's a bad batch. (393 characters)

Having tried this beer several times while vacationing, my thoughts on it were average at best. Had the opportunity to try this one again after quick weekend trip but not sure too what happened because this beer has had an overhaul the likes of you see in South Beach. Ridiculously good! Currently residing in a beer mecca and comparing to what is available in Western Mass, this beer hangs right in there with many of the more common of beers one can find. Pours super hazy, opaqueness similar to an unfiltered Hefe, cloudy, wispy with a solid head and nice lacing throughout. Very nice mouthfeel and nose- super fruity orange, melon, and tart citrus from front to back. Do not let the ratings fool you on this one. Find a fresh draw and dig in. Very solid offering. (776 characters)

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a golden/orange color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of hops, citrus. Taste is piney hops, some citrus, but not like the aroma, a bit of malts. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer, but nothing special. (262 characters)
