First had: on tap at Coffee District, Delray Beach, FL

Slightly hazy, amber pour with a small white head that receded to a wispy layer, leaving a few spots of lacing on the glass. Smell was a bit funky, and not in a saison way, like something was off here; thin and malty, soapy, distant leafy hops. This translated into the taste, unfortunately. It wasn't completely undrinkable, but this was not a very well-done IPA overall. Sweet thinned-out malts, light fruits, dishwater, leafy hops that really didn't provide a freshness or crispness that, in my opinion, makes a good IPA. Light-medium body, and just not very drinkable. On tap at the brewery. Served in a taster.

Appearance - Clear orange body. Nice white head. Good retention. Nice lacing.

Smell - Mild citrus and pine hop. Diacetyl? Might be.

Taste - Still some diacetyl here, but less. Mild citrus hop. Grainy malt smoothed out by the buttery flavor. Eh.

Mouthfeel - Medium body. Medium carbonation.

Overall - Diacetyl kills this. Maybe it's a bad batch.
