A Session Rye IPA and a collaboration with one of our favorite local bands: Rabbit in the Rye.” Hop forward, with a spicy/grassy character that is complimented and amplified by the flavor of the NY State grown rye. Dry and bitter yet quenching and very drinkable. Like the band, a balance between rustic, earthy tones, and progressive flavor.

Popping the can open gives a pineapple/floral aroma. Poured into a GN Belgian tulip - deep amber, moderately opaque, with a long-lasting 1.75" white head. More-or-less permanent lacing.
Aroma is of grapefruit, pineapple, and floral hops.
Flavor is a milder version of aroma (grapefruit/pineapple/floral) plus rye spiciness. Has a very fine, almost draft-like carbonation. (As with their other beers that I've tried. - Good job, GN! :) ) Unlike the others, it also has a pleasant sharpness, that leads to some lingering hop bitterness on the front of the tongue. Moderately thin feel. That said, it still feels heavier than its surprisingly low 5% abv. Overall, a very good offering, that I will gladly have again. :)

Similar to Founders Red Rye, but nicer balance in malt and rye.
