A 330ml bottle with a BB of Feb 2012, so it's rather out of date. Picked up from a supermarket on a trip to Kenya last October. Guess I shouldn't have left it lying around for so long!
Poured into a tulip pint glass. A slightly hazy orange-amber colour with medium carbonation. Forms a large head of creamy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before subsiding. Aroma of sweet grainy malt with a hint of dry yeast.
Tastes of grainy malt with a mild finish. Slightly sweet, with notes of earthy yeast and faint stewed hops. Quite dry upon swallowing. Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and has good body for the style. Mild aftertaste of malt and yeast.
Quite nice, though the flavour is pretty mild. This probably wouldn't compete in a country with a long history of making beer, but in Kenya it's a step up from the adjunct-infused lagers that dominate the market. Clean and refreshing - worth trying while you're out there.

Bottle: Poured a clear light amber color ale with a small foamy head with limited retention. Aroma of light caramel malt with light roasted notes. Taste is also a mix between some light caramel malt with a very bland finish. Body is extremely thin with medium carbonation. It’s funny but I think I prefer sticking to the adjunct lager then drinking this while I was in Kenya.
