A bottle picked up from the brewery on my recent visit to Wales. A deep golden ale which when poured into a CAMRA pint glass has a good head. Brewed with Progress and Pioneer hops for bitterness, which balances the blend of malts well. A good bitter, one I'd have again.

I had this at the 4th Lititz Cask Beer Festival. It poured a bright gold color with absolutely no head. Not much going on here on the nose. I'm getting some dry grass and lemon scent here. Taste is as to be expected from an English golden ale boasting it's soft hop presence. Cask ales always seem to be as smooth as can be. Overall, meh, just not really impressed with this beer. Certainly a sessionable beer for those who like the style, but for me, one is enough.
