22oz Bomber from Albertsons. Poured into my Dogfish Head Snifter.
A: Light hazy Amber/Orange
S: Pine, Floral notes, maybe a touch of citrus, and hops.
T: Slight Pine and Floral taste with hit of hops at the beginning. Could maybe use a little more of a hop punch towards the end but very good mix of what is there
MF: Here is where you get the oats. The mouthfeel plays more like a darker beer while mixing with an IPA. Kind of interesting with the oats and hops feeling left in the mouth
O: I was quite surprised with this beer, I really enjoyed it. I think it has good balance and the mouthfeel is wonderful. If it had more aroma and maybe a bit more hops this beer would be top notch. I will definitely be picking up another bottle sometime and looking for it on tap around the area.

Found this tonight at the COOP... glad to see it as sometimes I have a hard time making it out to the Western Burbs :-)
Poured into my slim tulip is a pretty brew... Nice two finger head and long lasting lacing... the brew is slightly hazed light amber..
Piney hops are the big gun in the nose.. maybe some floral hoppiness.. some pale malt sweetness sorta mutes the hops a bit.. especially with warmth..
Flavor is decent but needs more hoppiness across the board. It begins with a good bitterness that dies off pretty quickly... dry pale malt and possibly some toasty malt notes .. then the bitterness on the finish.. I think a bunch more (any) citrus/pine/floral/tropical hoppiness midpalate will make this one a winner.
Oats? The body has a sorta slick profile.... carbonation is stellar... Though, for an IPA, folks want lively/vibrant hop aromas and flavors. Not there yet.
