decent head leaving acceptable lacing that crept in thin veil down inside of glass. chill haze present after pour.

Nose was subdued with faint sweet maltyness and some light floral hop notes.

Taste was straight forward grainy malt that was lightly up front. Hop finish was floral and citrus rind that has a very nice dryness adding a quenching element that will come in very handy when I drink this on hot summer day instead of cold rainy december evening.

overall a very well put together and tasty blond. A nice first offering from TGNLB.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a rich golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is somewhat floral, some grains. Taste is malts, grains, there is a hop presence, bitter at the finish. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall this is an easy drinking beer, great for a hot summer day.

A: The beer is relatively clear straw yellow in color and has a very slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high bright white head that died down and left a thin layer of bubbles on the surface.
S: There are light aromas of biscuity malts along with slight hints of floral hops.
T: The taste has light flavors of biscuit and grainy malts along with a subtle amount of sweetness and a light amount of bitterness.
M:It feels light- to medium- bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. The finish has some crispness.
O: I enjoyed this blonde ale because it had some nice malty flavors but was still light-bodied and easy to drink.

Blonde, golden yello color, clean oats and lemongrass nose with lemon, citrus and hebal mid palate. Long finish with substantial hops notes. A more complex blonde ale than most out there and a great pair with fried Calamari, white pizza or roasted chicken.

Acquired via trade from MilwaukeeCrusher so a big “Thank You” goes out to him. Poured from a 12oz bottle into a US tumbler pint glass.

A: The beer is a light yellow color, with a short white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains light caramelized malts, some citrus and a good amount of hops.

T: The taste starts out with bready flavors of grain and a thin malt character. Then some sweet flavors of citrus and caramel come in. The hops presence is mild and complementary but there isn’t as much balance as there are in most other beers in the style. The after-taste is slightly sweet.

M: Crisp and a little smooth, light-to-medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: A little tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, decent representation of style, it’s a decent beer but there are a lot of better options in the style.

Pours a three finger white head that fades slowly leaving a good lace. Nearly clear amber color. Light carbonation and light-medium bodied. Nose is light grapefruit hops and flavor is same - grapefruit with a dry finish. $1.80 for a 12oz bottle from Tully's Beer & Wine Wells, ME.

Moderate head but it lasts and leaves abundant spotty lace. The color straw with a mild chill haze.

Impressive blend of lighter pale malts and some floral hop. There's also some sour aroma of spent grains.

With all of the cutesy comments on the label ("Never give up the ship" and "All hands on deck"), I wasn't expecting much beyond a law mower beer. But this has some real flavor! Starting with the pale malt, there is no graininess that I normally get from this style. There's a strong, peppery hop kicker. The body is thin, but still more than typical for blondes. In short, this is one of the best blondes I've ever had.
