Not have a spot on BeerAdvocate, I HAD to throw this place up here! This is one of my favorite places to come to after-bars for both beer and food. Their kitchen stays open til 3am which is out of this world!

Walking in, you can tell it has been many a different venue from throughout the years. It was a mile house, pharmacy (during prohibition), and one of the historic buildings from back mid-19th century. The bar is on the right, and where the coat room used to be is now a game room with 2 pinball machines, deer hunter, shuffleboard, and a rack of board games. Very easy going people, sometimes you see a character or two, but always safe and fun!

Not sure when its okay to smoke in here or not... This is my only issue with the place. Their burgers, pretzels, and toasted ravioli are out of this world, but if they are filled with smoke, its an entirely different meal. Same goes with the beer. About every other time I come here, it is smoke free but then sometimes around 2-2:30am, the room starts seeming cloudy. My only issue.

Awesome service! Their bartenders will conversate, entertain, and know their drinks. They also pair many dishes very nicely. I'm hoping to be closer to downtown someday soon so that these places will be available to me without a 30 minute drive to be had.

Their beer selection is just great! Their top brews I've enjoyed here are Schlafly Pumpkin, Goose Island IPA, Bell's Two Hearted, Duvel, and Chimay. They constantly are rotating their Schlafly brews and Ciders but still have an above average beer list!

The food is where its at! I recommend their Pretzels (app), Burgers w/ Garlic Fries (w/ Smoked Gouda on the burger), and their Toasted Ravioli (an easy favorite in St. Louis). All perfect after having a long night out drinking or even sober!

I truly have become a regular here after hanging out downtown or even stopping by and seeing friends off MorganFord @ one of the numerous bars there. Recommend coming here if you haven't already.
