Located in the former Old Chicago location downtown right on the riverfront. The view to the river is fantastic especially if you sit outside in the summer. Inside it's divided into half booth seating, half sports bar area. Great place to watch a game in the bar, no obnoxious patrons or blaring music/game play-by-play.

Always gone mid to late evening, service was excellent despite being understaffed. Staff (at least the ones serving in the bar) is knowledgeable about the beer served, never confused one with an order and they made recommendations based on my previous orders. Food is above average usual bar food, nothing exciting but still tasty.

Its the "retro" tap since they feature 5-6 "retro" beers like Hamm's, Schiltz, and Stag. Yeah, nothing enticing for the average BA, but you don't pay a premium for them either. There's plenty of BMC too, but half of their 30 taps are solid American crafts. Nothing mind-blowing (Left Hand nitro stout, Two Bros Domain, Stone and Founders IPA for instance) but a great variety at the fairest prices downtown. Have a good bottle selection too.

Great place to take a non craft drinker due to the "safe" faire, setting, and BMC selection. If he/she doesn't like your stout or IPA, there's tons of macros available. Good location to watch a game without much fan craziness and without crappy beer. Or, you you are so inclined, there's the large spectrum of light lagers.
