Thanks to Kevin for bringing this one down here. I poured this into a mug. The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a thick one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some thick creamy and foamy lacing that stuck for a while. The smell had a dry roasty coffee, slightly robust and light chocolate comes through nicely. The taste was mainly a dry robust roasty coffee which led to the aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation seemed appropriately styled and was good to me. Overall, I say this was a pretty good Irish Dry Stout that I would have again.

Pours a nice black with a solid tan head. Smells roasty and sweet. Tastes like coffee, chocolate, with a burnt finish. Quite creamy. Great Irish stout!

I have here the first ever ALASKAN Irish dry stout I've come a cross. In my pint glass. At just above fridge temperature.
It looks nigh black as night, and has a scrumptious-looking, creamy, mocha froth head of one finger's height. 4.58. I'm already getting good whiffs too...
Oh yeah. Good scent. Dark roasted coffee, rich and earthy dark chocolate, and a bit of sweet chocolate milk. Tempting. 4.54.
One swig and my mouth is awash with lusciously earthy, roasted malt flavors. The dark and bitter coffee and chocolate component is strong, but again, a sweetness akin to chocolate milk adds balance. 4.71.
The feel is pretty dang substantial for a 4.9% stout. And I mean that to be a compliment. 4.62.
I wasn't expecting quite so much stout "oomph" from this one, but it truly earned my generous praise.
