First had: on tap at F&M, Ambler, PA
The website says 3.7%ABV, but the chalkboard said 4.5%, so I guess it varies.
Poured a darker reddish-brown with a small off-white head; moderate retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel, dark malts, earthy hops. Taste involved a decent balance of sweet malts and herbal and earthy hops, slight graininess, mildly bitter, and hmm maybe a bit of a medicinal twinge. I kind of want to try this one again and re-rate it, considering I feel it might have been a little off. (These guys essentially just started pouring here, so you can't expect everything to be perfect right away.) Body is medium, and it's decently drinkable overall.
Serving type: on-tap
