Bottle split with callmemickey, yourefragile, raveskdr, and Amyliz4 yesterday at Forest & Main on the day of the release. Served in a goblet.

Pours a fairly-hazy yellow straw color. Nice fluffy white head as it is poured. Good retention and nice lacing along the sides of the glass as it goes down. Thin cap throughout.

The nose carries a lot of bread and quick-rising yeast. Murky appearance along with this seems like it needs a bit more time in the bottle to develop. Underneath these notes are some notes from the underlying Solaire base, with light lemon and a bit of peppery yeast and spice.

Flavor is similar, but a bit less yeast. Some underlying earthiness and Brett funk. Touch of citrus and a light graininess. Still a bit of bread and bread yeast.

Body is medium with good carbonation. A bit thick right now. Again, probably the yeast not being quite ready.

Overall, I could see this ending up nice, but I think it needs some additional time in the bottle to settle. Probably won't be all that long before bread yeast character falls through, and then I could see the Brett taking this one in a nice direction.

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Bottle #19 of 144.

Appearance - A slow gusher. Big head atop a pale hazy body. Lasts a while. Lots of surface wisps.

Smell - Bretty. Lightly fruity. Slight lemony aroma. Lots of pale malt.

Taste - Slight acidity. Very bretty. Earthy and bitter. Pale malt.

Mouthfeel - High carbonation. Medium light and bitter.

Overall - Generic brett saison but it's good.

Bottle 52 of 64. Served in a tasting glass.

The beer pours a cloudy golden yellow company with a half finger of fluffy white carbonation. The smell is light and herbal. This is a very light beer with a strong brett characteristic. There isn't a sour note to be found, but lots of brett. There is a slight bitterness in the finish. There is a lot of fluffy white carbonation with an extremely dry finish. This is a pretty solid offering.

Pour is pale golden yellow with a ton of tight white fluffy head. Nose has a good bit of grain up front with a musky bret and then strong citrusy lemon. Taste is very similar, lots of nice grains, a bit of dusty brett but not quite as musky, with a nice lemon kiss and a good bit of farmhouse yeast to it. Moderately carbonated and a dry finish with some prickly action on the back.

Bottle shared by yourefragile. Thanks Michael.

The beer is pale yellow with a half inch of white head. Aromas of hay, brettanomyces, earth, grain, lemon. Herbal flavor with the aforementioned attributes. Light in body and pretty easy drinking. Nothing too exciting here, but a solid beer.
