Slightly hazed pale yellow color under a thin, quickly vanishing, bubbly white head. Smells like blueberries, not artificial, but like the real deal. Very much like blueberry pancakes actually only with a faint citrus note and a musty whiff here and there. Luckily, the flavor of the berries does not dominate. There's enough grain and mild sweetness to balance it out nicely, leaving you with a beer that is unmistakably a fruit beer, but not in an overwhelming, syrupy kind of way. Pretty light in body with a refreshing amount of carbonation. Hopefully this will make it to the Eastern half of the state by next summer as this would make a great summer thirst-quencher.

Poured from the bottle into a wheat ale glass.
A nice brass to very light bronze colored body, super crystal clear and nice thin rising carbonation. Head is only about a finger and a fluffy consistency, off white in color and looks ok otherwise.
A real nice fruit character, very noticeable blueberry but also some off putting aromas. A bit of bile, acrid grain senses, but for the most part passable it seems.
A very surprising light palate and much more tolerable and enjoyable than the nose would indicate. Hints of light crisp malt, and a quick carbonation feeling on the finish with tight bubbles on the tip of the tongue. Nice fruit blueberry, doesn't come off cloying, sickly sweet, syrupy, or horrifically tart either. Good clean finish with some almost pils like crisp dry character, but not much chewy wheat backbone.
Overall though pretty tasty for a fruit brew.
