A: thin white head on a clear pale golden body.

S: completely blueberry pie and little else.

T: again this is mostly blueberry. Some hint of breads and wheat.

M: light body and medium to high carbonation.

Overall: certainly drinkable and refreshing. Not a fan of the genre especially when all that is represented is the fruit.

Had on tap at the brewery.

Pours a clear golden yellow with a thin head.

Smells strongly of blueberry pancakes. No hops at all and not really any malt either.

Blueberry all the way up front in the taste but this quickly transitions to a moderate grainyness. A quick light bitterness cleanses the palate to finish. Mouthfeel is quite watery.

While I am not really a fan of fruit beers and this one is no different, I must say it goes down like water and would be wonderful on a hot day.

Fills a Harp nonic clear, dark gold with a two-and-a-half inch fluffy white head that turns rocky as it slowly settles, leaving patches of webbed lace.

Blueberry pie filling dominates, leaving little else. I guess this is what should be expected from this style. Upon warming, a mild spiciness enters the background.

Closely resembles water with hints of blueberry flavoring, but there is really quite little going on here. I had expected more presence of fruit.

This is a light-to-medium bodied beer that is a little slick with modest carbonation and no alcohol.

While light on character, blue is thirst quenching and would make a fine session beer during a ball game.

Picked up a six pack for 8.99 at Total Wine in Kennesaw Georgia

A - pours an unfiltered hazy orange color with maybe a tint or purple color (blueberry color mixed with the other colors naturally present in beer). Fizzy head that disappears quickly leaving little to no lacing or head. Kind of a dead-looking beer.

S - Blueberries - but not really natural smelling. Smells like a blueberry biscuit - sounds kind of gross. Doughy. There's a papery smell there as well. Wheat hints are slight.

T - Blueberry. Biscuit. Wheat. Grainy. Pretty pleasant actually.

O - Despite its seeming lack of beer qualities, I like Sweetwater Blue. It's refreshing. It's unique. It's Georgian.

If I could rank it on a 0-100 scale I would rank this a 90, whether my actual rating equates to that or not.

For a fruity beer, it has a tiny bit of bitter after taste, but not so much that I can't enjoy it. Other than that, I really like this beer and have actually drank it on multiple occasions when there was nothing else on the menu that was on the fruity side (except for Blue Moon, which I now find boring). It has a mild blueberry flavor but the blueberry aroma is lacking. Overall, I like it and will drink it if I have limited choices.
