Reviewed solo, served out of a short pint glass.
Appearance: Poured a cloudy amber and orange, with 1 finger of head and frothy.Weblike lacing.
Smell: I get some hints of floral hops accompanied by astringent and detergent aromas.
Taste: Opens with a a strong malt backbone which is clouded by a floral and real green and grassy profile that lingers till the end and to the aftertaste. I get a shot of hop bitterness before it goes down the hatch and the bitterness lingers on the palate.
Mouthfeel: Light-medium bodied at most with moderate carbonation and a slightly dry finish leaving a sticky palate.
Drinkability: One and done for me. I recommend this to those seeking an imperial IPA with a solid malt backbone with tons of green and grassy hop profiles that intertwine with the alcohol esters.
Serving type: bottle
