pours a golden straw hue with a nice eggshell white two-finger head that lingers and leaves bits of wispy lace.
aroma is sweet with some straw, lemony and orange marmalade. fruity with a bit of green hops.
taste follows closely with some sweet caramel malt. honey, citrus zest, a bit of herbal hopping. tastes pretty solid. a vibrant, flavorful pale.
mouth is smooth, a touch sticky, and a touch high on carbonation, making it a touch sharp. nice lingering bitterness that helps the mouthfeel.
delicious, flavorful, potent, but not overhopped or too malty. it's really well balanced, light, and flavorful. hits all the right notes. I've been fortunate enough to try this a few times, and I love it every time.
