The only decent option at the Atlanta airport, so I sat down with a 12 oz. plastic cup (did I slip into a kegger?) & a chicken sandwich to wait out my flight. And yes, I chose the restaurant based on the beer.

Pour is standard-issue golden amber. Nose is grainy with a nice herbal nose.

420 tastes like a Plug-In-Air-Freshener minus the sickening sweetness. Lovely floral bouquet is all over the beer. Touch of dry prairie, citrus, then a slap of bitterness that arrives right at the end & sticks around nicely. There's another taste in there (blue?) that I can't quite put my finger on. To say it's drinkable is an understatement: I happily had two.

The penultimate Atlanta summer porch-swing beer. Goes down like water & packs a nice flavor profile. Very good beer & a nice brew to find in an airport packed with Heineken.

It looks nice, but if I were trying this blind, the nose would certainly not lead me to believe it was an APA. Very muted with a mild malt and sweet tone there that is just odd. Flavor is not too bad. Hearty, but not brash. I consider this an "old school" APA. You know, old school as in 6 years ago. Before we went for palate obliteration and all. It's easy to drink and nice. I'd be interested in trying it on cask as it strikes me as more English than American in style.

Who could resist a beer named 420? It's always 420 somewhere. Honestly this beer is born to be mild. Nothing about it just jumps out and grabs you. It pours up a clear pale gold with a beautiful off white 3 finger head. Elaborate and lasting rings of lacing can be observed as the glass empties. The smell is so subtle that my non-sensitive nose could barely pick anything up. Taste is sort of grapefruity and sweet with not much hoppiness on the finish. Still this would make a good session beer as it is very drinkable, if lacking distinction.
