A – Medium apricot gold. Nice off-white head with nice retention and lace.

S – Soft citrus, biscuity malt and honey with a faint twang of copper pennies.

T – Mellow malt with a light herbal bitterne. Bready backend edges sweet before a clean, dry finish.

M – Medium light body with a nice smoothness, but suffers from under carbonation and a thin finish.

O – Some upsides and some downsides render this about par for the style.

A- Copper color with a nice 2 finger head. Good lacing.

S- Big caramel with accents of bread and orange.

T- Bready malts, caramel, citrus, and light spicy, earthy hops.

M- Medium body, slightly drying, good carbonation.

O- I don't know if people outside of Georgia know the impact this beer has had in our state. It is one of the most widely drank beers here and has played a huge role in pulling people away from Bud/Miller/Coors. I'm not saying its the best there is, but its pretty damn good and has to be the most common gateway beer here. It was definitely one of mine.

[Best served in a Shaker glass]

The pour was a cloudy medium golden amber with an average sized (1-2 finger) white frothy head that had good retention and left behind some spotty residue that produced some nice sketchy lacing.

The aroma was a little on the weak side with some citrus and floral hops, grain and straw malts and a soapy yeast with notes of caramel, toffee, orange and grapefruit.

The taste was lightly sweet and a tad acidic with a hint of caramel and maybe some orange from the onset but quickly became very hoppy and bitter with a strong crisp citrus finish. The flavor only lasted a short while after the swallow and the taste mostly consisted of a hopped up grapefruit.

Mouthfeel was light in body and watery yet dry in texture with a medium carbonation.

Overall a nice light refreshing Pale Ale with a big dose of citrus. Most definitely could/would drink a few of these.
