Appearance: Clear, slightly dark orange. Poured a quickly dissipating 1 finger head. OK lacing.

Smell: Grapefruit up front. Followed by big rye, caramel, some pine, and tropical fruits. Really inviting.

Taste: Sweet grapefruit with tropical fruit, followed by some nice pine with a mix of rye and caramel malts. Finish is semi oily with a soft lingering piney bitterness and citrusy sweetness.

Mouthfeel: Medium creamy body with good carbonation. Oily finish with amazingly balanced bitterness and sweetness left behind.

Overall: This was a good beer. The flavors were strong and balanced and left me wanting nothing more than another bottle. This will probably be a mainstay for me from here on out.

Pretty aromatic. Rye is obviously present in the nose with some lighter hop notes coming out. Smells fresh and slightly earthy.

Pours a hazy brownish amber. With a medium large creamy and fluffy head.

Immediate hoppy bitterness with a big rye kick. Some big vanilla notes going on. Slight caramel flavor.

Light overall feeling is followed by some murky finish. Crisp up front from the hops and the feel changes dramatically to a malty one.

Beer of the month club bottle. Pours cloudy light orange with a tiny white head. Aroma of orange peel, honey, pine, and a hint of spice. Flavor is strong orange zest with a spicy rye tone. Some nice bitter bite, and dry rye finish. Light mouthfeel and pretty drinkable as I have found with other Sweetwater pales. Good beer. This is one of those that is done simply and doesn't stand out with crazy shit going on, but is put together just beautifully. I could drink this all day.
