Appearance - The beer was a pale straw yellow in appearance with carbonation and a whitehead.
Smell - The beer was faintly sour in the nose with a touch of citrus fruit.
Taste - The beer tasted the same as their regular blonde with sour hints. It didn’t really seem to be a full on sour. It made me wonder if this beer was an accident, the served on draft. It was pretty weak.
Mouthfeel - With high carbonation the body seemed smooth, perhaps with a bit of lactose.
Overall - From my visit, this was probably the beer I least liked.

Pretty tasty sour. Smells and taste fruity but also has that tartness as well. Fantastic beer and it was great to drink while watching the sun set at big bend.

Light, crisp, refreshing, tart blonde ale. Nose and palate are lightly lemony, melon-y tartness. Not quite like a berliner. Good pool beer on a hot day.

Decent wild sour, nice tartness and considerable picker from the lemon. Melon notes not bad either. Fairly well-rounded. Something I’d get again on a hot day.

Some old reviews from 2016 are pretty negative but also say it was a bomber and labeled as an American Wild Ale. I picked this up at Grapevine beer and wine while on vacation at Great Wolf Lodge and it was a six pick of cans labeled as a sour blond ale. I would be way harsher on the rating if I went into this thinking American wild ale.
Just a soured blond ale that went well by the pool on the 100 degree days we had at Great wolf lodge. Wouldn’t buy again but we didn’t have trouble finishing the six pack between me and the wife.
