One of the first ever bottles off the production line (a test run I believe).
A - Medium amber gold color, beautiful clarity, with light effervescence that produces sparse lacing.
S - Mixture bright citrus and dank tropical fruit with some floral pollen and spice character as well. There is also a subtle array of alcohol and very light malt/grain harmonies.
T - A stunningly flavorful rush - top IPA quality without question. Fresh and bright bitter hops with citrus, pine and yellow fruit. There is a perfect addition of a dank tropical tasting hops (probably Citra). While this is an American IPA, and mostly about the hops, the malt base is a stand-up contributor, but I appreciate the absence of overt crystal malt flavors. It has a subtler backbone, Munich or Vienna, that lingers for a while in the tail. Bitter it is, but it's an artful bitterness riding atop a subtle swell of a crafted malt backbone. Then the bitterness lingers further.
M - Medium bodied and slightly slick on the tongue fading to that characteristic IPA astringency.
O - This is the art of the IPA well executed. Excellent.

Served In a can. Ice Cold. Have had a few of these, from what I remember the color was acceptable, but not a category IGASA.
Smell is pure grapefruit and maybe a little metallic from the can lid. The kind of fresh and vibrant aroma I love in an IPA. I think the cans really do help to lock that profile in. Also these beers more fast in the Dallas area.
Taste is fresh grapefruit but somewhat subdued compared to the aroma. Well-balanced bitterness compliments the sweet tangy finish.
Carbonation is good with a slightly oily slick finish.
A great IPA from a small craft brewery here in Texas. Really happy to see the Texas craft scene exploding like it is.
