On-tap poured into a snifter-esque glass.
Golden amber with 1 finger of head. Excellent clarity with light carbonation.
Honey, caramel, and dank wet grass.
Dank wet grass and earthy, spicy hop flavors. Well balanced with a caramel and honey maltiness. Some sprinkles of candy sugar. Finishes with pine resin and onion.
Medium bodied, smooth, balanced, and subtly dry.
A perfect malt profile to compliment the Columbus hops. Really smooth and balanced with only a light bitterness. The alcohol is not noticeable. Really awesome stuff!

Served in a tulip.
Appearance: Amber orange coming off transparent with medium bubbles. White head roughly 1/4" off the body.
Smell: Bland pine scent, could be a little deeper.
Taste: Strong floral feel absolutely addicting but nothing new that you haven't had before.
Mouth: really sticky and sweet after taste. Bready type feel, feels little chewy.
Overall: Basic but overall very good DIPA. the heavy citrus and floral feel makes you not want to share it but I definitely splits the growler with one of my closest friends on his promotion. Salud!

Reviewed from notes. Had on-tap at Mellow Mushroom in Brandon. Served in a nonic pint glass.
A: Lighter copper in color. Appears nearly clear, though there is some chill haze. Forms a half-finger of white head with medium visible carbonation.
S: Disappointingly low amount of aroma for a DIPA - grassy, pine, and grapefruit rind hops with a bit of sweet bready malt is about it.
T: Grassy and herbal hops, some spicy/onion character as well. Bready malt backbone with only very mild caramel character. Hop bitterness with fading malt sweetness in the hang.
M: Medium body, modest alcohol presence for a DIPA, and good carbonation sensation.
O: Not particularly impressive. Since it was on tap, I have no way to know how old the keg was, but this really suffered from a lack of aroma, and the hop flavor profile was far from my favorite. Nothing truly offensive, but not one I'd seek out again.
