Claimed to be aged in Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels. On tap at the Patio in Mission Hills. Pours a cloudy amber with a soon gone wisp of foam. Much less aromatic than you'd hope for with Bourbon involved. Quite acidic as you sip.

Taste is fruity with apricot nectar. Definitely trending sour. The flavor is not much like whiskey, more like white Port with a touch of lime juice. Hard to taste any Belgian character. There's a long scratchy aftertaste while the stuff takes the varnish off your tonsils.

I was taken aback by the fruity and floral bouquet from a bourbon barrel aged tripel. Poured a bright orange with a slight head that dissipated quickly. Intense sweet fruity taste with an mild sour finish. In all, I really enjoyed this beer.

Poured a cloudy orange body with one finger head and lace that sticks around. Woody, yeast like aroma with some booze creeping in but has this funky dark fruit aroma usually found in darker beers. Smooth bodied, a little bit of fluff thanks to some breadiness, has some sweetness thanks to malts/yeast and this dark fruit sweetness that strikes me as sugar encrusted plums (which do not exist). Can't really describe beer other than saying it has this sweet booziness with slight medicinal flavor on finish as alcohol is noticeable.
