My brother ordered this for me before I got to Yardhouse, he asked the waitress "for the worst beer" they had, and she said no one could stand this one, except for one of the bartenders.
It was waiting for me in a standard glass when I arrived. I didn't know what it was, but I thought it was pretty good, if a little on the hopy side.
A: looked like a IPA should look, brownish leaning towards a bit of orange
S: Hops, citrus
T: The beer is a little on the citrus side and off course hopy, but I like that citrus kick
M: carbonated and a little dry
D: I usually have 2 before I order anything else
Serving type: on-tap

the green flash was first tried in philadelphia at ortleibs. a great little place to see good music and enjoy several craft beer options. good people make everything more enjoyable and the staff there were friendly and helpful, and deftly navigating a busy hipster crowd. the green flash delivers mucho hops to your face and leaves your palate covered in it. smells like beer and i like beer smells. this is an ipa that is not for those who don't like ipa's, its an ipa drinkers beer... and i recommend this beer called the green flash.

Poured 12oz bottle into tulip glass
A: dark honey color with decent head that produces heavy lacing with every swallow.
S: pine and some citrus; hop dominant
T: pine, citrus Some malty sweetness mid-palate and then finishes with a tingling hop resin taste. Hop bitterness prevalent
M: medium bodied; very dry.
O: great IPA with some unique qualities in the subtle malt intertwined with big hop flavors and that tingling sensation from strong hop bite at the palate's end. Great IPA!
